Crinum Defixum

Family – Amaryllidaceae.

A bulbous herb; leaves linear, deeply channeled, thick, dark – green. Flowers large, 6 -12 in an umbel, white, fragrant at night, found wild in Konkan and S. M. country.
Worth growing in the gardens as an ornamental plant. Propagated by bulbs.
