Common Names – Nag-damani, champa
A very handsome tall plant, a native of the East Himalayas, Burma. Leaves long. Flowers in long panicles. Corolla white with a tinge of pink, the lip beautifully variegated with red and yellow.
In blossom, generally, most of the year, thrives well in swampy ground. Propagated by division of rhizomes.
