Medicinal uses of colchicum lutenum (hirantutiya):- earlier in time when flowering not came the fresh stalk of this plant collected to obtained a drug known as colchicum stalk.
And mature seeds gives colchicum seed drug.
The stalk contain a most important colchicines which is useful in the pains and rubor of the urarthritis.
The drug which obtained by the seeds are also used same like a stalks.
